MARK Achieves Full Charity Status: A New Chapter for Biker-Led Kindness
M.A.R.K (Motorbiker Acts of Random Kindness) is proud to announce that it has officially been granted full registered charity status — marking a major milestone in its mission to showcase the positive power of bikers and deliver support directly into the heart of communities across the UK.
What began as a grassroots movement among passionate riders has quickly gained national momentum. The charity was founded on one simple but powerful idea: that bikers, united by purpose and compassion, can create real, lasting change. From raising funds for mental health services to installing defibrillators and supporting vulnerable individuals and groups, M.A.R.K champions the good that comes from doing good on two wheels.
The charity’s status comes at a time of rapid growth. In the past year alone, M.A.R.K has already distributed several grants to UK-based charities and initiatives, supported mental health first aid training for riders, and launched a national campaign to put kindness front and centre in the biker community.
One of M.A.R.K’s most exciting initiatives — a UK-wide Biker Passport Scheme that was rolled out this summer. Originally planned for 30 venues, the scheme has grown to include over 100 biker cafés across the country, encouraging riders to explore, connect, and support local businesses, all while raising awareness and funds for good causes.
To support this growth, M.A.R.K has brought together a diverse board of trustees, including a senior associate from Barclays Bank, the director of one of Wales’ leading creative agencies, several respected Welsh business leaders, as well as the owners of some of the UK’s most well-loved biker cafés. Together, they represent the balance of professionalism, community connection, and passion that drives the charity forward.
Speaking about the milestone, one of M.A.R.K’s trustees said:
“Becoming a registered charity is more than a title — it’s a signal to the world that we’re here for the long haul. We’re proud to represent a biker community that’s generous, united, and driven to help others. This status will allow us to reach more people, fund more initiatives, and keep proving that kindness belongs at the heart of every ride.”
With full charity status now secured, the road ahead looks bright for M.A.R.K — and for every biker who wants to ride with purpose.
